Industry: Financial

Press Release Summary: Not only have Top Grimsby Printers GSB Print & Design Ltd
managed to save over £2000 in bad debts in the last year they have just been awarded
£300 in High Street vouchers. Cardsave, suppliers of GSB's credit card processing
machines are offering £50 in high street vouchers for a referral of every business
that joins up to their credit card processing service.

Press Release Body: GSB supply local and national companies with all their design
and printing requirements and from small beginnings have become one of the largest
and only printers offering special coating finishes in the area.

Before installing a credit card processing (or chip and pin) machine, GSB was
incurring bad debt from one off jobs and from new customers, as like most of the
print industry GSB would extend credit and bill their customers monthly. Damian
Holden, Director of GSB said that the amounts were often small but they would have
to chase payments and in many cases would never get paid. Despite initially being
put off by the costs of these payment facilities Damian has seen that collecting
monies by credit card has saved them on administration time, postage and reduced
bank charges from dishonoured cheques.

Damian comments "We turned down our bank when they offered us a credit card terminal
years ago, we didn't feel we needed one. But when a Cardsave sales manager visited
us he explained the benefits and proved their rates were more competitive than those
the bank were offering so we decided to give it a go. We have been amazed at how
much we have used it and surprised that many of our larger clients prefer to pay in
this way so our cashflow has improved too."

Damian and his partner Warren Drinkell have worked in the print industry since
leaving school. They bought GSB, the company they both worked for, in 1989. GSB
originally supplied staff, stationery, office equipment and supplies but the new
partners could see that their investment would be best concentrated in the most
lucrative side of the business, print production. In the last 18 months they have
moved premises, invested heavily in new printing equipment, employed new staff and
have seen their workload increase by 40%.

Damian says "The incentive that Cardsave are offering has been well received by my
staff. We frequently take orders from start-up companies, they have an initial
basic requirement when setting up their company for letter headed paper, business
cards and comp slips, its usually one of their first purchases. Referring them to an
essential product for their business like this credit card machine has been easy and
getting £50 in shopping vouchers for letting them know about it is a bonus! Anyone
embarking on retailing will need this facility and my staff are rewarded by another
company for offering extra services to our customers so I am all for it."

Damian is giving the vouchers directly to his sales staff, who are laughing their
way to the shops!

Clive Kahn, Chief Executive for Cardsave comments "Customer referrals are one of the
best methods for us to extend our services to new businesses and we know that
delivering the highest levels of support to our existing customers is the
pre-requisite for these referrals to continue. We are delighted to reward all our
clients for recommending Cardsave and we congratulate GSB Print and Design for their
recent success."
